We assembled a planning team that was contracted to prepare a citywide comprehensive master plan for Pine Bluff. The plan included the following components: land use, zoning, housing, downtown redevelopment, transportation, public safety, parks and recreation, economic development, and code revisions.

We worked with DPZ CoDesign, leading land use, housing, and code writing; Urban3, specializing in economics, Ash + Lime, specializing in public safety; and Nelson Architects, a local firm providing insight into community development. A client steering committee guided the team, supported by several public meetings as well as a week-long workshop.

The plan provided the City of Pine Bluff with strategies, decision-making tools, catalyst projects, implementation guidance, and timelines for each of the eight planning components to guide the community’s redevelopment efforts, quality of life initiatives, and economic strategies.
