Jenny Burbidge was an integral part of the design team at previous employer, Ecological Design Group, for the Blowing Springs Trail, a three-mile concrete shared-use trail in Bella Vista, connecting Metfield Park to Blowing Springs Park.  This trail extension connected more than 10,000 new homes to a safe public mode of transportation that encourages outdoor experience, health, and well-being. The project included a 100+ acre drainage study, 15 new or modified culverts / crossings, all while navigating Bella Vista’s steep grade and existing roadside ditches to provide a safe, accessible trail for public use. Lastly, preserving and protecting trees in Blowing Springs Park arboretum during design and construction was essential to the success of the project.
