Our team was hired to provide a master plan for three Lowell parks, one of which was the Kathleen Johnson (KJ) Memorial Park. This park is about 100 acres of donated land located off of Bellview Street west of Interstate 49.

An inclusive playground serves as an essential piece of the park and features a tree-house concept. The team wrote an outdoor recreation grant, which helped the City of Lowell receive a $225,000 grant from the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage, and Tourism for the completion of the inclusive playground, along with shade structure, accessibility and fencing. The completed playground opened in Fall 2022.
