planning project manager
Isaac is a certified planner and professional community and economic developer with a passion for bicycling, walking, the outdoors, and public spaces that make cities inviting and memorable. Inspired by his family connection to Frank Lloyd Wright (with whom his grandfather, Nils Schweizer, studied at Taliesin West following his service in World War II), Isaac earned his degree in geography and interdisciplinary studies from the University of Central Arkansas in 2017 with the dream of becoming a city planner. His extensive studies in geospatial technology complimented by diverse interdisciplinary studies with the Norbert O. Scheduler Honors College helped shape him with a deep love of the built and natural environment and the people who occupy them.
After working in community and economic development in Conway, Arkansas for three years, Isaac joined Crafton Tull in 2021. He has assisted or led more numerous active mobility plans in cities of all sizes, and assisted with park system master plans, comprehensive plans, and has written two major federal grant applications which were awarded to Arkansas clients to expand their trails network.
Isaac lives in Little Rock with his wife and two girls. They are always outside biking, walking, hiking, visiting the library, discovering new gems in Arkansas’ beautiful capital city, or exploring state parks. Isaac is happiest experiencing cinema on the biggest screen possible, writing fiction, reading nonfiction, listening to music of all kinds, and running the trails at Blue Mountain in west Pulaski County.
